It should be possible to transfer files between two peers.
For example: I want to transfer a file to Toby, I would
like to drag the file to his name in the Buddylist (or via a
Menu Item that opens a FileOpenDialog). Toby should
see now a dialog that asks him, if he wants that file or
not and if yes, it should be transfered to him.

Without providing a final solution on this, I propose to add
jxta-cms as a service to all standard jxtaim peer groups.
Doing that would allow to share files and embed resource ids
(e.g. content advertisement ids) in text-messages as well as
in other (e.g. multipart) sessions.
Anyway, this is different from simple file transfer. For
file-transfer we need to implement our own router protocol
that allows real streams to be routed - otherwise the
throughput will suck.
Nevertheless, we get into troubles for heterogenous networks
with this approach.
So in best case, both solutions would be implemented. 1)
jxta-cms for the heterogenous scenario, and 2) stream routed
for tcp ip file transfer.
