an infinite loop occurs if an image of a gui design is missing and / sysimages/broken.gif is missing, too. See GuiUtil.makeIcon(String) and GuiUtil.getErrorIcon().

If it is not documented in the installation guide the errorIcon should be packed into the jar and should be referenced from there.
