Java Word Games includes a couple of fun to play word games and is written completely in Java. This release of the Java Word Games fixes the mispellings of all words with a Q in them. It adds the missing u after the Q in all these words.

The initial release of the Java Word Games project has been made public. It consists of two parts, the application (actually two of them) in a jar file, and a word list for use by the application.
You do not need bith, but I would recommend it unless you want to create your own word list. The application release includes an interface for creating and maintaining a word list and for solving "Spelldown" puzzles.
