Is there a way to stop jWebMail to append @domain_name in user's profiles ??
This feature works well but in our case it causes a problem.
We handle email for 200+ domains registered to our web hosting clients and
for a few thousand dialup connection users.
Our database driven pop3 server accepts full email address (not unix userid) for authentication.
Since all domains are handled by one pop server athenticator we only created one
default domain profile on jWebMail (ie canberra.net.au).
Client mmikrut@cyberone.com.au logging in gets @canberra.net.au added to his email
address/userid so in his profile the entry becomes: mmikrut@cyberone.com.au@canberra.net.au.
That is causing problems with sending emails as the jWebMail will not send email and
comes with error message "Illegal character in email address".
I tried to create an empty domain, but even then, the extra "@" gets appended to the user
email address, ie "mmikrut@cyberone.com.au@"
Is it possible to get jWebMail to stop appending the "@" if the domain name is empty ??
This would fix our problems :-))
