Are you sure that you're using 1.7.6?  There are places where a CME might be
thrown (e.g., in response to the vertex set of the graph changing) but those
should each be caught and handled.  Plus line 828 in VisualizationViewer is
on a closing bracket...is it possible that you've got an older version of JUNG
in your path?
