#14 Not starting on macOS

I downloaded Juice_2.2_install.dmg.gz from Sourceforge, mounted the disk image and dragged Juice into my Aplications folder. After getting past the usual "this program was downloaded from the internet" song and dance, the Juice icon appears in the Dock, but it does not open any window. What did I miss? I'm still on macOS Mojave, in case that matters.
