I use Juice to along with the Nokia phone syncing software to get podcasts onto my phone, but I suspect this problem is shared by a number of other people who have a simpler mp3 players.

Juice will happily download podcasts as mp3s into a directory, and that directoy is tehn synced to my phone.

The problem arises as my phone only allows me to browse tracks by file name, and teh file names that Juice uses to save files are generally not very useful (I assume they are taken from the file name of the source of the feed).

Much more useful would be a way to include the date (In YYYYMMDD format so it sorts nicely) and the podcast name in the saved file name.

So that instead of my file structure looking like

My Podcasts/Podcast Name/1235325325325.mp3

it looked like:

My Podcasts/Podcast Name/20070917 - A new podcast.mp3
