    And for desktop file:
    Name[sk]=Textový editor JuffEd
    Comment[sk]=Pokročilý textový editor
    GenericName[sk]=Pokročilý textový editor

    And one question: please, can you to consider usage of the gettext for i18n/l10n ?

    The Qt TS format is worse to maintain translation..

    Thank you for you job, I'll use it for sure. ts-file was already committed yesterday, desktop-file will be updated today. It all will be included into bugfix-release 0.8.2 that is coming soon.

    As for using gettext instead of ts - I don't think it's a good idea at this point since it implies significant amount of work to be performed (convert all existing translations + adjust all source code) for no obvious reason.
    To be honest, I had no troubles at all maintaining Russian translation for all years JuffEd has been existed.

    is there way to get notification about future releases (for translation update)?

    ad: gettetxt - conversion of the translation is no problem, ts2po/po2ts exists :-) but sources coversion is dirty job...
