Hi, Thank you for the response. Our LAN that we use to run JTella, uses Sun Solaris 9 with jdk1.4.0_01. We run 3 FileServer example on three machines: machine 1 connect to machine 2, machine 2 connects to machine 3, and machine 3 connects to machine 1. And we run Search example another machine, machine 4, to connect to machine 1. I suppose the search message should be constructed and propagate through machine 1, however, it doesn't. I am also not sure whether this mini gnutella network has been properly set up or not as I only see one pong message each machine when it send a ping to the one it is connecting to, which I suppose should be more than one pong received back. On the other hand, if I set up 2 machine, one run the file server example, the other run search example, connect towards each other, I can see that the search message is constructed and the other machine can get it since it also construct a search message in receiving the sent search message. However, no further action taken by the machine running the file server example.
