I will try to spend some time looking at this later today with some of the
later versions of known working Gnutella servents and let you know what i
find.  In the meantime, can you tell me what setup you used for your LAN
test?

What software/versions did you use other than Jtella?

How did you set things up...?

Did you get multiple versions of the other software working with each other?
If you did this, then at least you have a known working gnutella network on
your LAN...

Hi,

I and Phuong and other group members, have been trying to run
JTella example on LAN. However, we couldn't get any search
reply. Therefore, we put some print out message to trace
until when it actually works. We managed to get the ping
message sent and pong message received, but not always
though. About the search message, it is sent, but later it
time out because of no search reply.
Any help would be appreciate.
