Hello, I don't have time to look at the code written by Phuong but I managed to get the show on the road. The only issue however is reliable startup (lack of a good hostcache). I had a lot of difficulties myself to get my code working but it all turned out to be an issue with the initial node connections. A good trick to test the examples is to run them on a LAN where two or more nodes are present (i.e. your own servent). If you can make searches and get results back, you know that your client is OK. But I can assure you that I have been connected to the Gnutella network no more than 1 month ago. I had no difficulties to connect to servents like Bearshare, Limewire etc... Maybe Brian has a point when he states that the protocol might have changed a little. After my vacation I'll take a look at that one... In the mean time I will try to write some documentation that illustrates the use of the library. Kind regards, Tom. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bryan Waters" <br...@ab...> To: <pk...@uo...>; "JTELLA" <jte...@li...> Sent: Monday, June 23, 2003 4:07 PM Subject: RE: [Jtella-discuss] Need help to run JTELLA example > Jtella has not been updated in a while.
