Howdy, I am running freenet on a headless Ubuntu server 10.04 with frost install on it. I am having trouble getting Frost to launch though either Xming or No Machine NX. After launching Frost (frost-07-Jan-2001) and going though the initial setup prompts the process freezes on "Following the white rabbit..." and spits out the following error in the console: Exception in thread "main" java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError at frost.Core.initialize(Core.java:451) at frost.Frost.<init>(Frost.java:248) at frost.Frost.main(Frost.java:60) Caused by: java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException: The system tray is not supported on the current platform. at java.awt.SystemTray.getSystemTray(SystemTray.java:151) at frost.util.gui.SystraySupport.<clinit>(SystraySupport.java:31) ... 3 more I have tried editing the config/frost.ini setting showSystrayIcon=false, but the following error is reported after launching: Exception in thread "main" java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError at frost.messaging.frost.gui.FrostMessageTab.getButtonToolBar(FrostMessageTab.java:446) at frost.messaging.frost.gui.FrostMessageTab.initialize(FrostMessageTab.java:132) at frost.MainFrame.buildMainPanel(MainFrame.java:431) at frost.MainFrame.initialize(MainFrame.java:569) at frost.Core.initialize(Core.java:461) at frost.Frost.<init>(Frost.java:248) at frost.Frost.main(Frost.java:60) Caused by: java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException: The system tray is not supported on the current platform. at java.awt.SystemTray.getSystemTray(SystemTray.java:151) at frost.util.gui.SystraySupport.<clinit>(SystraySupport.java:31) ... 7 more I am able to run the previous stable version of Frost using my setup. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. |
