Hi Ian, First, I'd like to thank you for your message. I am working on a research project that aims to provide a secure environmen= t for cooperative edition of document. We have recently published a research paper for securely updating XML (Secu= rely Updating XML. In Lecture Notes in Computer Science, Springer B/H, Vol.= 4694, Pages 1098-1106, September 2007;). To better understand the motivati= ons for protecting XML, you may think about a hospital database and consid= =E8re an XML document with patients informations. We can control the access= to the document by sending on the fly to any patient only part of the docu= ment he/she is allowed to see. Now I'd like to provide a security module to jsxe in order for it to filter= first the document and present to the user only the autorized nodes and su= btrees. That way, many partner organisations can cooperatively and securely= tender for a job, but anyone in those organisations having to read and com= plete only part of the document according to the security policy. Adobe Lif= ecycle Policy server offer somthing like that for pdf and word file, but fo= r centralized environment. Well, I expect I have been clear about the motivations for my project. I'd like to access the source of jsxe in order to add that module. I am going to browse the repository you have indicated. Of course, any docu= mentation or indication to develop on the current source files will be welc= omed. Yah, In this case check and validate have similar meanings. I'm not sure but probably there is a word or term that Russians use to mean validate using Schema or DTD. Hi. When i translated jsXe's interface to russian... - it vas a "validate" function..... word to word translation of this - sounds curiously... as i understand - this function means checking structure and syntax of XML document..... so a question - can be "validate XML" and "check XML" - used as synonyms for translate to russian as "check XML"? |

Hey all, I just did some work the last couple days to make jsXe's webpage support multiple languages. I'd like the translators to translate the included files at your earliest convenience. The files are a few php files. The _global.php is a string mapping file which is similar to the messages files for jsXe or 'po' files for gettext. The others are just content files with mostly html. They have a few php function calls in them but I'm sure you'll get the idea. Let me know if you have any questions about the files. Right now the news is generated from the sourceforge site. And the whole text from the news items don't show so it's not really worth it to translate it at this point. I hope to have a way to have news in other languages soon. Also, could you send with the files the native word for your language so I can put in on the website? i.e. Deutsch for German. Oh and thanks for all your work so far. :) -- Ian Lewis Ian...@me... http://www.ianlewis.org/ http://jsxe.sourceforge.net |

ok, done. Included *.zi with all utf-8 files. What is not translated because there are no such strings in original "messages" files: 1) "Yes" and "No" buttons in dialogs. 2) Menu items: "View->Tree View"; "View->Source View" (but may be it is so because i use 0.5 pre2, not build from SVN) 3) Source View -> Find dialog - nothing translated except "Cancel" button. 4) ColorChooser - nothing translated except OK and Cancel buttons ant window's title. |
