Hi, I wrote an Ant script to call a remote shell script using ssh but found that the script hung during connection. Using JSch's included ShellNoGui class and jsch-0.1.18.jar I was able to discover the code hangs during the call to session.connect(), however testing the same code across various machines (connecting to the same server) showed that this machine was the only one that wouldn't work. SSHing to the same server from that machine works without problem, suggesting an environmental issue. The machine runs Debian 3.0 (Woody) using JDK 1.4.2_05-b04, I've sucessfully tested the same code on a machine with the same version of Debian and JDK 1.4.0. Here's the output using the debug version of 0.1.18 that ymnk mentioned on the list previously: V_S: (46) [SSH-2.0-OpenSSH_3.4p1 Debian 1:3.4p1-1.woody.3] read: 20 I_S: len=530 kex: diffie-hellman-group-exchange-sha1,diffie-hellman-group1-sha1 server_host_key: ssh-rsa,ssh-dss cipher.c2s: aes128-cbc,3des-cbc,blowfish-cbc,cast128-cbc,arcfour,aes192-cbc,aes256-cbc,rij...@ly... cipher.s2c: aes128-cbc,3des-cbc,blowfish-cbc,cast128-cbc,arcfour,aes192-cbc,aes256-cbc,rij...@ly... mac.c2s: hmac-md5,hmac-sha1,hmac-ripemd160,hma...@op...,hmac-sha1-96,hmac-md5-96 mac.s2c: hmac-md5,hmac-sha1,hmac-ripemd160,hma...@op...,hmac-sha1-96,hmac-md5-96 compression.c2s: none, zlib compression.s2c: none, zlib lang.c2s: lang.s2c: ?: 0 ??: 0 Does anyone have any ideas?
