#8 Expand Regular Expressions to Unicode character sets

Hello,

this is an important task for future versions, but also a hard one. Regular expressions patterns currently only match the ASCII table character set. There is no possibility to match real Unicode characters. To solve this problem, the entire regular expression implementation must be reworked, to hold character ranges from 0x0 to 0xFFFF, to be fully Unicode compliant.

Any ideas? I've done such an implementation some months ago in C, but don't have the time currently to do this even in JavaScript.
