Looked like pretty good.data. Though, I don't know what AC. ;) It would be interesting to do a C172 airframe and see if you get about the SD's that Smetana's apps get. I imagine the input would be similar: lots of measurements. However, he already worked out the data for the 172, so one can just look at the output. McCormick publishes some SD's for 'his' Cherokee 140. Cmq is about half that of the 172 airframe. There is an Air Force report on measured SD's for the T-37B, up to about 10 deg alpha. The T-37 is slow enough so compressibility shouldn't be a factor. Ron |
