Problems have been reported with locking, though. If you experience hanging after some idle time, try to disable locking in security preferences tab.

The asymmetric use of encodings for writing and reading the passphrase of a PasswordSafe file lead to unreadable files.
Anybody who already downloaded should only use it for testing purposes, or use a passphrase with a length < 9 and without special / local chars.
The Mac OS X download of Java PasswordSafe SWT had deprecated version information. The new download displays the correct version 0.7, without any "beta". Nothing else changed!
