A feature I think would be handy is to allow, in Preferences, the ability to automatically copy either the Username or Password to the clipboard when browsing to the record URL through JPasswords. Since we can select to display the Username (and it's probably easy to type) auto-copy of the Password would be most handy if making an "or" selection in Preferences is difficult.
Use case would go:
1. Set Password to auto-copy to the clipboard on URL browse
2. Browse to a URL via JPasswords entry
3. Password is auto copied to the clipboard
4. URL opens and user types in Username and goes to Password field
5. User hits Ctrl+v and password is pasted from the clipboard

Bump.
Just checking if there are any thoughts on this feature?
Password Gorilla has a similar feature and with Linux you can get both ID and Password to auto copy to the clipboard. Then it's a simply right-click-paste in each field on the website for login. However, JPasswords is much more feature rich in other area which I really enjoy too. Especially the mirroring in v0.6!!
Thanks for the great tool,

Good idea! - I guess I should work more on this project. Thank you for your occasional prods. Just keep on going! :)

Well, you asked for it ;)
The feature described above is actually my 2nd preference. The best would be to have JPasswords set up with a system hot-key, auto-search and auto-type feature.
Use case would go:
1. Define a system hot-key for JPasswords
2. While on an active given window (doesn't have to be a browser window) that requires user ID and password, with the cursor in the ID field, user presses the hot.
3. JPasswords (already open in the background) searches its entries for a title that is contained in the active window title.
4. If a matching entry is found JPasswords auto-types the user ID, tab, password, tab, enter (actual sequence could be defined by a macro as you may need something like user ID, tab, tab, password, tab enter).
5. If multiple matching entries are found, they would be displayed in a pop-up with more information and the user can select the desired entry.
Thanks again for a great little tool!
With 0-6-0 RC2 you can "auto-copy" the password on URL start.
