#3 selecting "Compile Current Buffer" from action menu crashes

Sometimes when "Compile current file" or "Compile
current Buffer" is selected from action menu, jedit
crashed inexplicably.

On further testing, it appears that this can happen with any
action in the catalog! Increaing seriousness of bug.
