I've already seen similar bug from few years back, BUT the important difference here is that I have 32GB of system memory installed as well as I'm using the newest JPEGView version 1.0.35.1 64bit. This should be plenty enought to view this screenshot, the link to the file is below, it is a massive screenshot from newest NVIDIA Ansel preview.

JPEGView 64 bit cannot read images with more than 500 Megapixels. This image has over 1 Gigapixels. Already with 500 MP, sampling down the image takes a long time, with 1 GP you would wait forever. For Gigapixel images, you need to use a specialized viewer, not JPEGView.

PS: JPEGView should not crash in this case, just show a message that this image cannot be read.
Any chance you would add the support for these large images as an option which could be chosen if someone is willing to wait for the image?
No it is not crashing, it does display the message like the title of this post.
