Hi, 1. this is why i recommend the source distribution. 2. Its up to you to use the environment of your choice, but then you have also all the problems. You must ensure that all required libraries are added to the Java classpath and there are pleanty solutions for this problem: -- command line (java -classpath rt.jar;joelib.jar;log4j.jar;...) -- scripting (analogue but dependecies resolved automatically, at least under a linux environment or cygwin under Windows, recommended for script freaks and pharmaceutical industry) -- ANT (recommended for developers) In your case i recommend simply to create a src-folder or remove the checking part in the ant script.
