Once upon a time....

...I was enthused about a new operating system.  So were many other 
folks.  It
was called "Linux".  One day, somebody on the Linux Usenet group had the 
bright
idea of making T-shirts.  I bought in.  This was before Linus's comment 
that he
liked penguins.  So the bird on the shirt was a storm kestrel.  I've 
still got
that shirt.  But it is alas far too worn to actually wear.
