I would like to ask, if the editor support ANSI escape sequences for coloring the text? I found some mention here: http://tldp.org/LDP/LG/issue01to08/articles.html#ansi but I'm not able to get it working.

Hey cichmen, the key to insert control characters changed from backtick (or "reversed apostrophy" as they call it in that page) to ^Q (control-Q). HTH
