[Jocr-devels] What font is optimal for gocr?

Hi,
 
I have downloaded and installed gocr. It is very promising! I am
attempting to use it at work for batch scanning. Here is my
dilemma:
 
o  Get ~ 130 forms weekly.
o  Load into automatic document scanner
o  Automatic batch scan, use gocr to make a textfile
o  grep machine number from text file
o  File scanned image to correct machine folder.
 
This would be great, and it works most of the time; however
I need to improve my consistency.
 
What ghostscript font is best for gocr, and with what size
and attributes?
 
I'm thinking like "courier bold 12pt", but would appreciate any
suggestions. Also, I might be willing to work on an OCR font
specially for gocr if I knew how best to make it.
