My university teacher was looking for someone who would make little OpenGL presentation for other students. He mentioned that it should be sth simple like rotating cube, triangle etc. I said that I'm interested in creating such presentation, he agreed, I went home and started coding.
You may see on screenshot what I've developed :-)

Yesterday I uploaded # 2 technical demo of my engine, and today I uploaded newer version of this technical demo :-) which solves all problems people have reported to me (missing DLLs, game speed, logo).
You can see screenshots from it here: https://sourceforge.net/project/screenshots.php?group_id=122443
and you can download this 7 MB .zip file with Windows executables here: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/jnr/Techdemo2_1.zip?download
I'm working on little game (with the title as above), which will be also #2 technical demo of my engine (Sculpture Clay, btw which is now in 1.0 version), and which I plan to release in next week.
See you in next week ;-)
It's new, it uses better version of Sculpture Clay engine (0.91) and it's ready to be downloaded :-)
What a shame that Sourceforge's stats don't work for my project, so I won't be able to see how many people have downloaded it... well, at least SF team said that now statistics system is on its way - I hope it will be ready soon.
If you will have any problems, feel free to mail me at: koshmaar@poczta.onet.pl
Now you can also download my old tetris game, playing it bear in mind that game was created more then a year ago and from that time I've become much better programmer ;-)
Also, 2 new UML diagrams of particle system in Sculpture Clay Overview in Articles section of homepage.
You can see it on project's homepage - it's actually beta, but because of "release early, release often" motto, I've decided to show it wider publicty ;-)
This time it's all about Sculpture Clay's features and design; you can read it on JnR homepage.
There's one new article on our home page that describes all game types that will be available in final version of Jump n' RotN (well, at least we hope so ;-)).
BTW: currently I'm working on GUI, it's growing pretty fast so there's a good chance that after some time we'll release second tech demo, showing another portion of Sculpture Clay's capabilities.
Well, it's slightly upgraded and simply looks much better, but the main reason for new release is that in older version I forgot to include some .dlls needed by SDL_Image :-( now everything should be fine (but in case it isn't, please mail me: koshmaar at poczta.onet.pl so I can add what's missing). I've also included source code for application.
Oh, and one last thing - now it's only Windows version... but don't worry, when Layonell will finally compile SC under Linux, it will be available also for Linux :-)
Hello everybody!
A few days ago I've uploaded our team's first technical demo that shows what parts of our engine (it's named Sculpture Clay) are capable doing of - in this case, it's particle engine, font rendering system and handling configuration files - and that's only 20% of what SC can do now. At this moment engine is nearly finished, only GUI support needs to be done. After that, we'll finally start making actual GAME! :-) Want to know more about Jump n' Rotn? Check our home page -> http://jnr.sourceforge.net/ and remeber, more info coming soon!
