hi, i posted a query about this yesterday on the main jython list, but perhaps here would be more appropriate... basically i want to be able to do the following ... >>> from jnios import os >>> sqlproc=os.popen('sqlplus user/password','w') >>> sqlproc.write('select TABLE_NAME from cat;\n') (or any other line of sql) >>> sqlproc.flush() it works fine under CPython (using the normal os module) but not under jnios. Under jnios the popen() part works, but not the write() We are using solaris (sunOs 5.7). Firstly I'd like to know if it works for anyone else under a different operating system. And then if there's anyone that can make sense of this error message and suggest what might br wrong ? Bus Error si_signo [10]: Bus Error si_errno [0]: Error 0 si_code [1]: BUS_ADRALN [addr: 0x435382] stackpointer=FFBEC448 *** panic: JIT signal handler did not take the signal Test for suspension on thread: 1 in process 26227 ...
