Hi, You should consider that you can choose what version of the LGPL is more suitable to your needs. I've first released JNative to GPL license, but it was non sense, since any software that use my library had to go GPL. I had 5 goals : - 1st was to prevent someone to use my work and create a commercial software like Excelsior's xFunction (same software type but commercial), - 2nd any software (commercial or free) that link to JNative is just fine, - 3rd any user that enhance JNative is encouraged to publish his work to make JNative better for everybody, - 4th ear about users that use JNative (what do they do with it, ...), - 5th earn few money on support and donations (counter is still blocked to $0 for years :D) If you and/or your company respect at least #1, you are allowed to use JNative.
