messenger.getOwner().getFriendlyName() doesn't work

when I use messenger.getOwner().getFriendlyName() ,
it doesn't return the friend Name ,but only return the
LoginName.

    I cannot see buddy list after applaying May 20 patch

    I also installed new version plus new patch released on May
    19, 2005. After login, I do not see buddy list at all. I used it
    with jdk1.4 and jdk 1.5 but It fails, any idea whats wrong ?

    Hi!!

    I think you are wrong in the same way I was, as I suppose
    you are trying to get your friendly name when the the login
    event is fired.

    Wait until the event buddyListModified() is fired and then
    try to get your friendly name. It works for me.
