I'd like to suggest the option to import/export a speed table from one decoder file to another. Another option would be to have a "copy speed table from loco" feature. This would come in very handy when I program Tsunami's since I always have to slow them down.

The ability to do this is already there via several methods:

    • Simply open the roster entry you wish to export from, place the second loco on the programming track, go the Speed Table pane and Write Full Sheet to your decoder. You can later open the second roster entry, go the Speed Table pane and Read Full Sheet from your decoder.
    • Use the File->Export->CSV File feature to export from your first roster entry. Open the second roster entry (or a blank one), use the File->Import->CSV File feature, go the Speed Table pane and Write Full Sheet to your decoder. Don't save but close and reopen the second roster entry, go the Speed Table pane and Read Full Sheet from your decoder.
    • Use the File->Export->CSV File feature to export from your first roster entry. Use any text editor on your computer (If a PC use Wordpad rather than Notepad) to remove everything but the Header Row And CVs 66 to 95. Open the second roster entry, use the File->Import->CSV File feature, go the Speed Table pane and Write Full Sheet to your decoder. Save and close. Don't forget to Enable Speed Table on that pane.

Note that some decoders (QSI, Tsunami and ESU) also use either or both of CVs 2 & 5 even when a speed table is active.

Should this be clopsed? Dave has explained how to accomplish this.
