Prototype version of a module for downloading stock quotes is implemented. Initial framework for downloading stock quotes is implemented and prototype for downloading detailed quotes from Yahoo!Finance is implemented. Today the project's web site was brought to life. General information about the project, development status and news as well as developers and users guidelines can be found there. There are also direct links to project forums. The project's web site is hosted by SourceForge.net and is accesible on http://jmosaic.sourceforge.net.

On 12-Dec-2004 the "jMosaic" project was officially registered in SourceForge.net. The goal of the project is to develop reusable J2EE business functionalities that can be used in every Web applications. The following modules will be implemented in the initial phase of the project: registration functionality, authentication functionality, generic shopping card, generic payment module. The modules will be easily configurable using XML configuration files, generic enough to be used in wide range of Web applications and easily extendable in order to meet specific customer needs.
