They need to adjust the settings so that they allow stuff from other developers. Here’s a handout we share with students (including screenshots) that might be helpful. Turns out if I try to open jmol on a mac, it refuses, saying that it is from an unidentified developer, or something. I can force it to by going to the Privacy section of Settings. However, I have to do this *every* time I open the program. Do you have a work-around? Something I could put in settings that says this is a trusted program? |
