Actually, the jar that we distribute has a manifest that says Sun
Microsystems. So I assumed that it came from them.

I took a look at the implementation used for cdk. And clearly that version
is *sun-compatible*.

The javax.vecmath implementation that you are using in cdk is less than
half the size of the sun version that is shipped with the 3D API.
Therefore, I suggest that we adopt the version that you are using with
cdk. I'll test it out and then check it in.
