Hello, I've been playing around with the various XML file readers in the latest update of Jmol available on SourceForge, and I found what could be a bug. I tried opening the attached file, which opens just fine in older Jmol versions. In the last one, though, it gives off a Error reading XML: null message. By playing around a little, I was able to realize the following: - the exception is thrown by the "saxReader.parse(is)" call in the org.jmol.adapter.readers.xml.XmlHandler file, and is a Null Pointer exception. I'm not 100% sure it works like this, but I suspect it is actually thrown by one of the callback functions...? - the interpretation stops just before the 0.00</matrix> part in line 121 of the attached file, as that's where the BufferedStream is left pointing. That's it, I don't need this specific functionality now, but I thought it was worth informing. Regards, Simone -- _______________ Nuovo indirizzo e-mail: sim...@gm... |
