Jmol users -- I will be presenting a paper "What's New For Jmol" at the Biennial Conference on Chemical Education in Bloomington, Indiana, in July. My abstract reads: The open-source Jmol Java molecular visualization applet and accompanying stand-alone application has experienced rapid development over the past two years. This presentation, by the current lead developer, will highlight some of the new capabilities of Jmol 11 most appreciated by Jmol users. SO now it's your job -- If YOU were giving this talk, and you only had 20 minutes... Q: What new features would you include? For reference, here is the change-logs for 10.2 to 11.0 and 11.0 to 11.4: http://chemapps.stolaf.edu/jmol/docs/examples-11/new0.txt http://jmol.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/jmol/trunk/Jmol/src/org/jmol/viewer/Jmol.properties?view=markup Q: Do you have a URL that might be highlighted? (Don't be shy!) Q: Do you want to say something about how Jmol solved some particular problem in molecular visualization that you have had? I will collect the results of this thread and use them to design my presentation, which will be posted at http://chemapps.stolaf.edu/jmol Thanks! Bob Hanson -- Robert M.
