NullPointerException in PrologAPI
Brought to you by:

When using the jPrologAPI class, If a variable in a query is not bound then a
NullPointerException will be thrown.
The problem occurs because the value translation (which maps Java
objects to JLog prolog objects, and back) maps jVariable to null.
A fix is forthcoming.

The problem is fixed in the upcoming 1.3 version (a developer release is available).
The new version of JLog converts unbound variables to void.class by default, but
the translation services supports arbitrary translations as needed by the
developer.
