#1 QPL is non-free

I wanted to package jlibsync for debian to go alongside synfig (http://www.synfig.com). Unfortunately it is licenced under the QPL, which debian considers to be non-free:

viewcvs is down at the moment, but I assume you are the only copyright holder and this will be easy to do. If you agree, I'd recommend just using the GNU GPL:

http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.html

An alternative would be to dual licence it - give people a choice between the GPL and the QPL.
