#3 Bug: Upper chat pane can receive pastes

The upper chat pane, or the pane that holds all the
previously submitted text, should not be editable.

Unfortunately, at this current state, the user can not
insert text, but they CAN paste text into the upper pane.

A minor annoyance, but still undesirable.
