Hello,

wlFXP is a great Application. Its not slow, but it's
not faster than java can be. So it would be great if
the developers would try to build it with gcj (native)
using swingwt (Swing SWT Wrapper ->
http://swingwt.sourceforge.net/\) and GCJ (GNU Java
Compiler). So you can create native Windows/GTK/MacOSX
or even FOX (3rd Party) GUIs. Just take a look at
http://sancho-gui.sourceforge.net .

Thank you for this great Application!

Yes, SWT seems to be a little faster, but last time I
checked swingwt didn't really work "out of the box". So it
would be a lot of work to do that. I also have the
impression that native compiled code isn't really faster and
that it only brings problems when you try to do that.
Besides, wlFxp uses some things from java 1.5 and the native
compilation stuff isn't quite up to date. But at least the
gtk theme in java 1.6 looks a bit better than before,
    although it's still slow.
