More importantly I want to install Redhat without destroying what I > already have on my hard disk, ie without fdisk Just prepare the partitions you want to use with OS/2's LVM and do not do any fdisk-ing with Redhat. Linux can access LVM-partitions without problems (at least my SuSE 7.1 with a 2.4.X kernel can). Just be sure that you use blocksize of 4096 when formatting JFS in OS/2 as Linux-JFS can only access that blocksize. If you are doing volume spanning that may be a completely different matter, which I have not tested. Greetings, Peter. |
