Some time ago I decided to switch from ReiserFS to JFS
because I had some problems with Reiser. Ewerything
works fine, but I was hit by two or three strange
kernel OOPS when using emerge (Gentoo) Todat I was
able to grab a kernel log and it looks like:

I already upgraded my kernel to 2.6.17 when switching
to JFS. My machine is 1GHz G4 Pegasos II computer with
1GB of ram.

I haven't seen this before. Would it be possible to apply
this patch and rebuild the kernel & jfs.ko? Also, it may be
helpful to build with CONFIG_JFS_DEBUG enabled in .config

This can be hard I guess because this system is dead now :/
It works fine but I decide to run a fsck to be sure is
everything ok and it founds one problem the /etc directory
has some crosslinked blocks. I was a bit suprised when fsck
ripped this directory completly and move it to lost+found. I
looked there but there was only some small files mostly
    corrupted.

I am now without linux ...
