CSS files generated by the reporting engine are not correctly CSS-encoded. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Key: PRE-357 URL: http://jira.pentaho.com/browse/PRE-357 Project: Pentaho Reporting Engine Issue Type: Bug Components: Classic-Engine Affects Versions: 0.8.9.5, 0.8.9.4, 0.8.9.3, 0.8.9.2, 0.8.9.1, 0.8.9, 0.8.10 Reporter: Thomas Morgner Assignee: Thomas Morgner Priority: Critical Fix For: 0.8.9.6, 0.8.10 The CSS content generated by the reporting engine is not properly encoded and therefore may produce unpredictable results if it contains Non-Ascii content. For now the chances are relatively low that this can happen, as the only text contained in there are font-names, but as these errors (as soon as they occur) are deadly hard to track down and can break the HTML rendering, this bug still deserves a Critical rating. These CSS encoding issues have no security implications as all CSS content stored inside the HTML file is additionally encoded as HTML attribute or text content. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://jira.pentaho.com/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira |
