• JEE Application Server or Web/Servlet Container which supports Servlet API 3.1 or above

JForum 2.7 has been tested under the following environments

Java:

• JDK 8.0 Update 252

App Server:

• Apache Tomcat 8.5.42
• Apache Tomcat 9.0.21
• Jetty 9.4.30

Databases:

• MySQL Community Server 5.1.60 (support for MySQL 5.1 and 5.5 will be dropped with the next release; they're no longer supported)
• MySQL Community Server 8.0.13
• PostgreSQL 8.2.3
• PostgreSQL 9.4.22
• HSQLDB 2.5.1
• MariaDB 10.5 (10.4 should also work) - select MySQL during installation
