Hi Rob, Are you sure you are not being cougth by the refresh? If you clik on a blinking alarm the refresh will stop and you could write the subject and the description (be sure New journal is selected) and then click on ACK... it should take a few seconds and then you will be back to the events screend, but the drop-down in journals will list the new journal a you will be able to click in "View" to see which events are in that journal.. or add a new description to the journal clicking in ack again. I dont think this is a DB problem.
