Hello,
is it possible to use a JTextPane instead of the JEditTextArea ? I've
written a small XML-Editor and the only thing I need is the
Syntax-Highlighting. (My Syntax-Highlighting-Functions are to slow and
have a few bugs). For my Application it would be better to use a
JTextPane.
Greetings,

The component is self contained and designed to be used as-is. The
existing JEditTextArea is from an old version of JEdit and only
moderately stable. The author of JEdit is supposed to be releasing a
new stand alone text component soon so I imagine as soon as he does
that, this project will be completely useless.
