I'm glad about your interest in JD4X. I'm planning on a Linux distro as well with JD4X but I'm too tied down for now to do that. I recommend you to join the JD4X mailing list (http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/jdx-news) to get regular updates on our internal releases. It will help keep your product on the cutting edge of the Java desktop technology. The current beta release is buggy, there is a better update (internal release) and you should try it.
