Bugs item #550572, was opened at 2002-04-30 12:28 You can respond by visiting: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=376685&aid=550572&group_id=22866 Category: JBossServer Group: v2.4 (stable) >Status: Closed >Resolution: Fixed Priority: 5 Submitted By: Christian Elsen (celsen) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: StringIndexOutOfBoundsE. in JNDIView Initial Comment: In class org.jboss.naming.JNDIView occurs a StringIndexOutOfBoundsException in Line 396: buffer.setCharAt(buffer.length(), ')'); I think it should be replaced by buffer.append(')'); because setCharAt is index- based (not size.based) and therefore always thows this Exception if proxy classes are used. Regards, Christian ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Christian Riege (lqd) Date: 2002-04-30 16:31 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=176671 i fixed this in 2.4.5 CVS tree ( JNDIView 1.4.2.3 ). marking CLOSED FIXED ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Roland King (rolandking) Date: 2002-04-30 15:24 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=446937 ah - you're right, sorry. The fix was applied to 1.12 of org/jboss/naming/JNDIView.java but not propagated to the 1.4.2.2 branch, which means the release candidate has the old code. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Christian Elsen (celsen) Date: 2002-04-30 15:17 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=364055 I just downloaded 2.4.5RC3; the source file provided there have exactly the same bug as in 2.4.4. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Roland King (rolandking) Date: 2002-04-30 14:14 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=446937 That must be 2.4.4 you're looking at. This bug was fixed just after that release, it should actually be buffer.length ()-1 because they want to replace the ',' with a ')'. This happens only when an EJB implements multiple interfaces. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=376685&aid=550572&group_id=22866 |
