Hi, i think it is time you read a tutorial on J2EE and why WAR and JAR files are created instead of poking around in the server.xml. Applications are supposed to be deployed onto application servers by writing deployment descriptors like web.xml and ejb-jar.xml. study first please :-) try the J2EE tutorial on http://developer.java.sun.com ?? /Werner Tania G.
