#114 Large Pixel size images are Blank.

I'm running a fresh version of JavaHMO2 Beta 2.

My OS is Windows XPSP2.

When displaying pictures with large pixel resolution,
the images and thumbnails just show up as a blank
screen. I have some images with resolutions of
3000x2400 the cause this bug. I will upload a
directory listing image that highlights the files that
would not display on the TiVo. All of the images in
this directory worked except those that are
highlighted. These images are ones I've saved off of
the Astronomy pic of the Day site.

JavaHMO2 Picture Errors

I have same problem (XP SP2)... None of my images from my
3.2 Mpixel Digial camera work - They all show up black (I
had to switch back to JavaHMO 1.2). Has not worked in 2.0
Beta 1, 2 or 3.

I may have found a workaround for this problem...

I uninstalled the beta, installed 1.2, then installed beta 4
and unselected JRE and JAI and then I was able to look at
larger images. It still had a problem with some huge JPG
files I had, but all other pictures worked great.

When viewing images from the new Canon 20D, high res jpg, a
large red X shows on the screen only. In some cases, the
thumbnail shows but not the image and in other cases thumbs
and pics are red Xs

In your wrapper.conf, set the "Maximum Java Heap Size (in
MB)" option to use 128MB of memory. That should solve the
problem.
