Oh the reason I chose CPL is because I had been talking to a guy who worked for IBM and he told me it was a very open license which allowed the person using our source to virtually do anything with it, including sell it, or build on it and sell that. I felt it was a less limiting license than LGPL. I'm not totally sure what the differences are however. I just wanted something that was very close to public domain, except that it would say something to the effect of , "We wrote this and you can't claim that you did." Xalan has an open source Apache license. What do you consider "shareware" You are hosting your project on sourceforge - what is the intended license for this project - the code doesn't seem to contain a license currently. |
