Unexperienced users would be relieved when showing him which view is currently opened. This could be done in two ways:
1) The buttons in the button bar could be displayed pushed for the currently opened view.
2) Some kind of heading with the name of the view (in the titlebar or on the right edge of the buttonbar or just underneath the buttonbar) would help him to recognize the different ways of locking on the data.
